Part-Time freelance opportunity For the Sea Otter Classic!
We are hiring an intern or freelance marketing for the upcoming Sea Otter Classic! This exciting opportunity is part-time from 17-21st April 2024, and we're looking for two people based in or around Monterey, CA. Both will be to handle all marketing related matters at our booth. 17th April (Wed) 10am- 2pm
18th-20th April (Thur – Sat) 8:30am– 5:30 pm
21st April (Sun) 8:30am– 2:30 pm
Pay: $20 - $25 an hour

About the job.
- Assist in the setup and dismantling of exhibition booths, displays, and signage.
- Support us with the setup requirements and address on-site issues or concerns.
- Ensure proper organization and maintenance of exhibition materials and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by warmly welcoming and assisting exhibition attendees.
- Help manage visitor flow, answer inquiries, and provide event information.
- Collaborate with our team to ensure smooth operations during the exhibition.
- Assist in coordinating logistics, including inventory management and transportation arrangements.
- Maintain cleanliness and ensure the safety of the exhibition area.
- Provide general administrative support as required. (ex. order and collect lunch) .
Skills & experiences required.
- A positive and proactive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions attentively.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual work, including lifting and moving exhibition materials.
- Proficiency in basic office software and technology.
- A strong commitment to professionalism and delivering high-quality service.
